You describe this damn wind perfectly… I’m completely turned inside out by its malicious insistence to blow and blow and blow 😅😫

It does feel malicious.

O!This is BRILLIANT Karin. Yessssssss!Your wording This. Yhooo! Thank you. Been watching waiting for the taller wilde dagga to capitulate and meet the ground...Nope. Not yet. Just bendy...

Karin Schimke's avatar

That wilde dagga is made of tough stuff. I have spent this week making lists in my head of things I have lost to the wind (many plants in pots) and wild wind stories. The wind makes me otherwise. Does it affect you too?

Deirdre's avatar

Yup! My bones rattle my teeth ache...and I have to work doubly hard to deepen my breathe...Been sleeping with Cape May oil in burner...

Karin Schimke's avatar

You just made me realise something: one's breath does become shallower!

This blew me away - the sound, the fury of it all

Wow - did that resonate. What a beautiful description of the strong winds tearing through our city right now. It put into words exactly the discomfort we feel about it but don’t have the language skills to verbalise. Love it.

So you, too, are shaken to your core? It is no fun at all. I find it quite distressing.

That almost made the wind worthwhile xxx

I love the wind, and I love this. But maybe it's easier to love the wind in the shelter of this side of the mountain

Relentless, it takes energy to feign sanity...
