Ah, spring will come! Flying is weirdly awful, it takes my brain time to arrive, I think the slower forms, ships, rail and cycling allow for simultaneous arrival of mind and corpus & is less difficult. In the Harry Potter books they had that instant transportation thing which flung the molecules about so dangerously. That sounded to me exactly like flying, except with less of the queueing.

It definitely takes longer for certain aspects of the self to arrive than it does for the body to land. I think a lot of walking and a lot of sleeping is indicated for the first few days. What say you?

I chuckled at the line on the northern hemisphere producing so many spring poems!

Perfectly said about that unnatural feeling of flying and being in such close proximity to strangers which opens us up to social faux pas and lolling heads which incidentally I really hate when that happens to me too x Enjoy watching Spring unfold here in the global north x

I look forward to seeing the trees budding. They're still mostly tall arrangements of stick at the moment. Very architectural.

Looking forward to more photos. That overwhelming grey you described is so like England... but it certainly makes you appreciate blue sky when you finally see it!

The grey feels a bit like all your living is happening under a roof...including your outside living.
