Such a gift to read as I start my Saturday, thank Karin. Your art of interviewing and writing them into stories that take us intimately along with you, is exquisite
Wow. I really needed this today! I would love to meet Gretchen, who seems to embody everything I’m trying to hold onto and learn at the moment. Interestingly, I also consider green my favourite colour, if I’m forced to pick one, although I didn’t as a child. I’ll need to read this again to take it all in, I think, but for some reason it feels like this post is magnifying ideas that I’m thinking about while reading Tuesdays with Morrie - a book I unaccountably haven’t read before. Lots to ponder. Thank you!
I have interviewed so many people in my life and Gretchen is in my top five. I think what she has to say could be meaningful for many people in different ways. And I had to cut a lot to make the length reasonable. I'll be posting some outtakes that I couldn't include over the next while.
So glad this hit a note for you today, Noah. Gretchen is wonderful to talk to. And I so admire her work.

Thank you, Toni. Gentle, thoughtful, courageous thinkers are the people that don't get enough airtime and I love interviewing them.

I look forward to reading more. Thank you for introducing us to Gretchen!
